Privacy Policy
Effective October 24, 2026
The Hoverstone app doesn't collect or store personal data. There are no accounts, analytics, ads or tracking, and nothing you do in the app is sent to the developer.
On your Mac
Your tabs, web apps, history, settings and site sign-ins are stored only on your Mac. Wipe or deleting the app removes them, and private tabs leave nothing once the last one closes.
Connections the app makes
Apart from the pages you open, Hoverstone connects only for the following, and never sends anything that identifies you.
- Site icons: fetched from each site. If a site has none, the site's domain name is sent to Google's icon service to get one.
- Ad blocking: public block lists are downloaded from easylist.to, adblockplus.org and jsdelivr.net.
- Purchases: Pro and its free trial are handled by Apple. The developer never receives your payment details.
Websites you visit follow their own privacy policies.
Support emails
If you email us, your address and message are used only to reply. To have them deleted, ask at the same address.
